Socialism
Socialism on the left promises people salvation. Through planned economy, nationalisation and social engineering, the left offers a just and harmonious society in which everyone is equal. Socialists have something to believe in. In socialism, the economy is a means to a utopian ideal society. What a naive notion!
For many, socialist utopias have been a fixed point in life. But socialism is merely the first step on the road to becoming a nihilist. At first one has hopes, but with experience hope dies. A nihilist is born.
It is not society's fault – it is the universe's!
Equality is a cute idea. But the truth is that the universe is fundamentally unjust and inharmonious. Everyone knows that even in so-called "socialist" communities there is an internal hierarchy all the same. At every house meeting there is always one bastard who grabs more than his share. Injustice is the ontological condition of man. It is not society's fault – it is the universe's! The socialist logic of capital is a dead end.
